Word Search

WordSearch1.com has a large collection of pritable word search games. The front page will randomly generate a word search from a dictionary of words. Check out the definitions of those words by hovering over the word on the left side of the game screen. My randomly generated word search puzzles are a great way to learn new dictionary words. All words are Scrabble legal, so use them to improve your play in Scrabble, Words With Friends or Lexulous.

Easy to learn game

If you're not familiar with how to play the word search puzzle games I have on my site, it's pretty easy to learn. Look at the words in the column on the left side of the game screen, and try and find them in the grid on the right. The words can appear Horizontal, Vertical or Diagonal in the grid, and can also be spelled backwords (to make the puzzle more difficult). When you find a word, click down on the first letter in the word, and drag your mouse over the entire word. This should highlight the word, and cross it off in the column on the left. Once you have all the words marked off, you win the game. Try and see how many of the word searches on this site you can win. We have thousands of user generated word search puzzles, so it will take a long, long time.

Tons of themes

If you are looking for themed word searches, there are several word searches I created, including word search puzzles about Algebra, Animals, Boats, Children, Cars, Difficult, Dogs, First Grade, Internet, Number, Presidents, Science, Sports, Super, World War 2. You can also check out the word searches we have in our directory of user generated word searches. You can create your own word search puzzle using our word search builder as well. If you happen to run into a word that you find offensive, please let me know. Dozens of new word searches get approved for the directory every day, so check back often. Or publish your own word searches to the directory. If it's a good word search and it isn't offensive, I'll approve it for the directory and you can check back to see how many times it's been played. If you like any of the puzzles you play, you can click the 'embed' button in the game, and embed that puzzle into a web site or blog by cutting and pasting the code I provide.

More puzzles added daily

In the not too distant future, I'm hoping to add log in features that will allow users to keep track of the puzzles they have won, and possibly to save off puzzles so they can play them again some time. There are a lot of new features I'm hoping to add over the next year (time permitting). Several people have suggested I add a pause button, and that is definitely something I would like to put into the next version of the game that I release.

I'm always looking for ways to improve my games. If you have any ideas, please feel free to Suggest an Improvement. Feel free to try any of my other games as well. I usually respond to suggestions on the page that they're made, so please check back.

Thanks for your help, :-)
Rick
